Melting Snow Texture Guide.
To make my melting snow texture you need 3 things; Greenstuff World Snow Powder Realistic, PVA Glue & Water. I mix these 3 together with roughly 50% snow powder, 25% PVA glue and 25% water. Depending on the thickness of your PVA glue you might want to add more or less water. Just experiment with different ratios to get it how you want it. You are looking for a sludgy consistency that isn’t entirely solid, but definitely is not liquid. I apply this to the base in areas where I want it to sit, but do take into account that it will shrink and edges will become transparent and a bit glossy. I also highly recommend to not varnish after this, so apply this after you’ve done your varnishes. It is quite tough when fully cured.
