It happens to the best of us, we leave some bases stored too close to some ancient set of wargame rules that no-one still plays. Saga, for example.

The Dangers of Long Term Storage

Unfortunately these bases had been rubbing against Hail Caesar for too long and have developed corners 🤢

I am happy to report that there is a process that in just four*, or so, years you can restore them to their natural round magnificence.

*twelve if they are Renedra

The Dangers of Long Term Storage

Above and below are the tools you need, barring the blow torch and crucifix which are still on order.

The Dangers of Long Term Storage

First step is to soak the affected bases in bleach for four years, replace the bleach every six months.

Rinse with two parts Listerine, one part Holy Water. If the base comes into contact with skin then it is recommended to bathe in Listerine unless you have an exorcist on hand.

The cursed object can now be filed down fairly safely but keep the craft knives, blow torch and holy water close at hand in case you need to assert dominance.

Once the shape is restored to a circular one bury with the crucifix and a cheese sandwich* in a lead box on consecrated ground for six months.

Your base should now be usable.

*Ham if it’s Renedra
