World of Twilight Participation Game

We dropped by the World Of Twilight table running participation games in their unique fantasy setting created by Mike Thorp. This scenario is called Bug Hunt, where the players fight over a living food source, but in this game the food fights back!

The great thing about World of Twilight is there are many scenarios that cater for multiple players.

Love the round table. Makes for the best gaming environment.

nogginthenog

A round table for multiple players makes a lot of sense, good on them.

I know absolutely nothing about this game, but some of those models look very ‘Dark Crystal’. Which can only be a good thing.

minigiant

Have to agree, the round table is great. May steal that idea for my Warmachine table i am building, with 4×4 able to fit inside it

rayzryr

There is a certain “natural-ness” about al5hat round table. It isn’t too cluttered with scenery, the round shape is intriguing. It just seems… right.

kamaron

Withcraft, a round battle table!
It looks sweet, and I agree with the other users, it makes so much sense for a multiplayer game.

lukeyboy

Why are there not more round tables

cruciumgiger

Glad I got to see the Twilight table, it’s a great game too.

lasse

Neat looking table.

macadams00

Food that fights back? sounds like my partners cooking …..

switch1984

looks so cool! cant believe im just hearing of this!!

inquisitorfelix

Really interesting, evokes a bit of a Fae and Morrowing sort of feel.

somegeezer

To join in the chorus of approval for the round table. What a great idea!

nehpets

The table looks great, nice and simple yet effective. I love the Jim Henson look to that range.

beetle

No unused corners on this table. This looks great for skirmishes. I can’t say I’m familiar with the game, though.

panzerkaput

Its nice to a game that is a little bit different from the rest

davidquinn77

That looks really really cool.

stkelly82

Circle does make a lot of sense for a skirmish game even when it’s not just for demos. Brilliant idea.

Super stuff there

complyordie88

Me and my girlfriend where looking for a new game to come away with at salute today and we chose this, some really nice game mechanics and some really cool looking minis plus we where give a really good deal on what we picked up!

rgreenparadox

With more and more skirmish games, skirmish focused boards are going to be an interesting sub set of board building. Almost like creating arenas, without actually creating an arena. might be something to start an article series on.

cornishdaimyo

What a fantastic premise, thanks so much for including it in the coverage guys. I’m getting a Monster Hunter meets Spore vibe and that’s AWESOME!

mulletsteve

Must make all the comments… must Win prizes!

round table looks cool, I have visions of a turntable underneath so you can get to all your troops and or lines of sight.

mitch

I love the table .. It’s just awesome …

neoscream

This looks nice. Sadly I missed this table

hithero

Everybody should try this game, it is refreshingly different in theme and rules design which work exceedingly well as a multi-player game.

wendren

Like many poster’s, that table is cool, now the dining room table doesn’t seem so bad.

rccmavis

every year I see this at salute and say I will get into it. maybe next year!

izeman82

another table i missed that i wanted to see ply, oh well, get to look forward to any coverage from BoW!

radegast6

I love this game! how did I missed it!

clansmen

will have to look into this as the models look great

lunchbox

Never heard of this but looks like a great little game!

growler

Don’t be fooled by the cuteness of models. The setting of the game is basically the little guys trying not to be viciously eaten by the big guys. Still picked up enough models to get started.

angelicdespot

This is definitely one of the games I want to have a demo of in the 2 day version of Salute…

It looks really creative. Just a shame about the name suggesting a link to sparkly vampires…
