I do like that dome style tavle, very effective and something different to what we normally see as sci fi terrain too. I do like the freeborn faction, really nice looking models.
Quality is improving with every new models, rules are solid, background intriguing, excellent from every point of view!

I’m loath to say it as I really like some of Warlords stuff, but the minis for Antarres are bloody awful. Miles behind what GW are putting out these days. They just don’t excite me at all and that’s stopping me ever getting into the game.

Drones are nice!
I’ll be honest, when I saw the first releases, especially the more..70’s scifi style like the boromites, i was very doubtful. But the recent updates have definitely taken the stuff from the 90’s to modern style with models- the drone tank is really nifty, and I do rather love the isorians.
My friend got the starter pack painted up and are crunching through the rules! Must get an army of my own soon!
I’m a big covert to GoA, if you fondly remember the days of RT this game is for you. Rick has posted he would like the game to be more narrative driven, and the first expansion is a 10 battle campaign set on the jungle world of Xilos.
That drone adds another dimension to this game. If only I could choose a faction.

Love Warlord games! Bolt Action and now looking forward to the new Zombie game! Also their Customer Service is amazing!
I would hope to see an “open-faction” to use generic of 28mm scifi-humans, just as Kingdom of men for KoW. That creative freedom is what I´m missing in many scifi games, and GoT does have a very intressting game-system with much potential.

I got the opportunity to get a demo of Antares at TwisterCon in OKC. Really good system and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a platoon sized scifi game. Easy to pickup and understand but adds a lot to tactical play and player options. I hope you guys at Warlord have another successful year with both this and your other games. See you at Origins in Columbus Ohio this June.

I don’t know. Warlord is a wonderful company, and their rules are usually great – yet, somehow something still seems off with the GoA miniatures, stopping me from getting into it. 🙁

V excited about GoA, picked up the starter set recently which is fantastic value – couldn’t believe you get a full size hardback rulebook in it rather than the mini-soft back versions you tend to see in all the starter sets now.

I love Warlord Games – I spoke to John Stallard briefly in the food hall and thanked him and his company for making games and bringing me and my son closer together through play. I asked whether the British can expect some plastic Paratroopers soon and he said that it’s on the list of projects, but that the US plastic airborne box set will be out soon as their latest plastic set addition. Great company, great people.
