Marching forth as part of a growing army we have some new Austrian Light Infantry, The Grenzers , from Eureka Miniatures . Build up your early 18th Century force with some more models. There are all manner of interesting models being added to the collection including soldiers clad in different outfits and uniforms as well as a range of other […] -

Lost all interest at blind buy. If they were blisters maybe, blind buy forget it! Than again I don’t live in Japan so my opinion doesn’t matter 🙂 It is a very different market. Best of luck!

@colb said: Why bother with plastic if you’re not going to have super customisable minis. If you want to rock monopose then resin or metal would give you better detail
Firstly, although plastic is expensive to tool, it is incredibly cheap to produce in high volumes. This is the main reason GW use hard plastic. It’s also […]

@craigwrdouglas To be absolutely honest I’m a little bored by this Primaris malarkey new Space a marine craze. Yours however, make me want to go and buy some to try your scheme. Absolutely outstanding dude! And kudos for sharing all the secret ingredients, two thumbs up!!! In the meantime Matt has sent my his new 20mm […]

@onlyonepinman : I think that dwarves definitely are a unique unit in that aspect. And as I said it looks like GW is doing a bit of both with their ‘easy build’ kits and the ‘standard’ plastic kits, which IMHO is the way to go. One important aspect of those posable models is that you need […]

Both have they pros and cons but I prefer multi pose when ever its’s possible. While I like some well sculpted models that have dynamic poses I like giving my models pose that I want without being limited too much by what sculptor had intended. Then again some times like with some classic but outdated […]

Why bother with plastic if you’re not going to have super customisable minis. If you want to rock monopose then resin or metal would give you better detail, I remember Eldar Guardians have ball joints at the shoulder allowing a fantastic amount of variety in natural posing, I still don’t know why this was never […]

Agreed. That was part of the grim-dark not so techy estethics.
They have somewhat moved away from that with the primaris. The primaris are taller, less clutter, more round edges. First ultramarine primaris looked almost as ariadna (infinity) heavy infantery. With that direction skimmers are no surprise.

That halfling looks shifty. I wouldn’t buy his meat pies. Or Dragon Detectors. He looks like the sort of chap who would sell them to you at a bargain price!

Otherworld Miniatures has shown off some new releases for their role-playing collection including these three NPCs that would be great for populating a town. The set of models breaks down into the Elf Bowyer , the Dwarf Weaponsmith and the Halfling Cook . Each of these can be snapped up separately and would make for a great scene as your tired […] -

I don’t think it true that ‘curving/twisting along the spine’ is ‘very little movement’It is at 28mm.
When you twist your torso, most of the movement is at the waist, and that bit is posable on models like tactical marines, Fire Warriors and Cadian Shock Troops
