The flag thing remind me of a show in the shopping centre in Milton Keynes a few years ago – one of the games on display where ACW – I don’t recall the battle -but the table marked with the battleflag and the union flag did cause a few looks.

The Meeples & Miniatures podcast recently did a review of Planetfall and it was very positive. Quick and brutal game with buckets of dice. Sounded quite casual.
If I wasn’t so invested in Dropzone I’d have picked it up well before now.

For the Pod Racer game, instead of having incidents tied to the moves on the board or template have a roll-off table.
