February 24, 2026 by brennon
Warcradle Studios has announced that their new Starter Set for Dystopian Wars is coming in April! Dominion of the Dragon will be a new entry point into their naval wargame, featuring the forces of the Empire going up against the Crown.
Dominion of the Dragon 2-Player Starter Set // Dystopian Wars
Inside this set, you'll find everything that two players need to get started and play Dystopian Wars. Here, we hone in on the Dominion of the Dragon campaign, a set of narrative encounters that will help you learn to play Dystopian Wars. One player will command the Crown and the other the Empire as you battle for the fate of the Ashmore Refinery, a vital location for the treatment of Sturginium, the most valuable resource of the Dystopian Age.
Inside the set, you get a load of miniatures to get you started...

Thats a heck of a starter set. Impressive 👍
The biggest issue is narrowing down which faction I like, but the Crown is a contender. Hopefully I can see more at Adepticon this year.
There will be demos ongoing by the Warhosts and Warcradle Studios said they would be present.
that’s what we all tell ourselves when we want to get into a new game …
but we all know that we will end up buying multiple factions no matter what.
tip:
when you can choose dragons … always pick the one with dragons 😉
Yup, I’m in. I’m already elbow deep in Armoured Clash 🤣
Any idea on price? I mean I’m guessing in the region of £120
