Fabled Realms: Sell-Swords Guild Kitbash Focus
I talk with Cad about the variety of options available to you when it comes to building a warband in the world of Fabled Realms. You have soooooo much scope when it comes to looking at the Sell Sword Guild and other Mercenary warbands out there in the world.
Take a look at Justin's Valkyries, which are not only part of the fluff but also adding to the want for MORE background in the future.
Justin's Sell Sword Shieldmaiden Warband
Justin wanted to show off just some of the models from his Shieldwolf inspired warband for use in the Fabled Realms. These ladies hit hard but if they get struck in return they might end up in some pain...they are effectively glass cannons.

Happy Sunday all, so far I’ve achieved very little this weekend other than watching and hobbying along with you all. I definitely massively regret not being able to make this weekend so far its looked absolutely amazing.
The idea behind the game is amazing and I love the passion from the guys at 4ground, it clearly is a labour of love for them all. The kitbashing has really drawn me into the game as you can really make some armies that are truly yours,hopefully mine will compliment the 4ground minis later on in the year. Its also allowed me to get a couple of friends interested in the game, ive been trying to get them into fantasy for a while but being huge fluff lovers ive not had anything with enough background. This has really been a breath of fresh air. Having a world wuth so muh background already is amazing. I can see us playing this for a long time to come.
Loving the rules so far too, while I understand the reasonig for going to a D6 some custom ones with hits and crits on them with blanks for missing would be perfect. Ill be honest im lazy in that way and that would take one thing away. I know its been said before but I do think it would be a good idea. If not then its no major thing as the colour system with normal D6 is simple enough. I really like the cards and gow they add that cenematic moment to the games. Its such a great little idea to have those sort of events a one off on a card. The turn based action/reaction thing is perfect, it makes the game so much more realistic. Great idea.
To sum up, my mind is blown and I’m completely sold!
So any new terrain kits to be shown today?

This has been a very cool weekend. You guys now have me trawling the internet looking for mini’s to kitbash as stand ins until the game is released.

Lazy flooded Sunday morning here is Louisville. The flood walls are up and the river is full, perhaps matching the flooding levels from the 90’s. Awesome weekend!

I have a question regarding Mordanburg militia, perhaps my favourite LOFR faction (although I love all of them). I have an idea for unusual soldier: Wilhelm, former bodyguard at Stoic Arms and currently the only ogre serving in the militia. I hope such person fits to the fluff. I got this idea during the weekend but I lack the right bits to make the conversion unfortunately!

Good afternoon I know this is a strange question but I think asking it here’s the fastest way for answer. I have downloaded rulebook about seven times and each time I do it there are green squares blocking out portions of the page. I’m pretty sure they’re just diagrams but I cannot seem to find a racial starts anywhere. Which leads me to believe is being covered up. May someone please tell me the racial stats so I can finally get a game in. Thank you
The green boxes contain all the hidden rules for cavalry and flying troops for LOTFR. It is amazing

Apologies if I’ve missed something – Are the generic cards/stats listed somewhere in the packets?
I’m looking to list-build for a 500-600pt warband so I can get my models in order – I see the starter cards with the named characters and a few of the henchmen – But if I’m looking to make my own warband (no named folks, henchmen of a race different than the starting cards) is there a place with the dice-stats and special rules for the options listed in the rulebook?
I really do appreciate any insight. Spectacular work this weekend promoting this great game.

Just got home after a weekend away ‘off grid’ and oh boy it looks like there’s some catching up for me to do. Really enjoyed seeing the prep last week and will definitely be using Johns frosting technique on some scenery for frostgrave. Also looking forward to seeing the kit bashing everyones done, ive half a box of Frostgrave soldiers and half a box of Frostgrave barbarians that i hope will do the job.

It’s been great catching up after having to work the weekend. I have to admit that hearing about the game I had my doubts but these days of content have absolutely convinced me… just wish I wasn’t still paying off Christmas!
