Gen Con is held in Indianapolis and will run from August 4th - 7th. MERCS Still Going Strong For Megacon
I finally found my way over to the Megacon booth in the vendor hall, where they had a whole case full of their MERCS units. As we mentioned when we spoke with them the other day, they have 217 events here at the con!
Still More Kingdom Death Miniatures
They are just too impressive not to share! They have so much more booth space this year and we're able to really showcase their pieces nicely.
Dream Pod 9 Shows Off Heavy Gear & More
I stopped in on Dream Pod 9 to have a look at their new plastic models and had a chat about what's new. They've been BUSY! There's a new online game being piloted on STEAM where you can either play or be a spectator, and you can bet on other players while you watch! They also have their Dreadnoughts going to KS this fall and lots more.
Super Cute Chibi Goodness From Soda Pop Miniatures
The case is full of all the chibi goodness you could possibly ask for at Soda Pop'star booth. There was even painted Rail Raiders in there! Adorable!
Games Galore In The Demo Hall
Here's a quick peek at the variety of things being played in the demo hall: Mythic Pantheon, Exiles & GI Joe: Cobra Assault- just to name a few. There's plenty of gaming going on in every nook & cranny around here- folks gathered together in corners in the hallways too!
I know it probably crazy there but could you try and swing by Dream Pod 9 to check out the Heavy Gear Blitz plastic sets and by Monolith for the Conan board game? Thanks for the coverage so far, wish I could have gone my self.
I would love to get more info about the Heavy hitters giant mech game.
Can you please stop by Pallidium Books and see what’s new RPG books are coming out and any word on Robotech RPG tactics.
