Infinity Boot Camp Live Blog: Sunday
It's Sunday and that means big games today at the Boot Camp! The attendees are going to be using their full Infinity boxed sets alongside their TAGs and playing some awesome games on our tables.
There will also be prizes and don't forget there is a prize for you too since you could win a copy of Infinity: Operation Icestorm by commenting on any post via the Live Blog.

First time I’ve noticed this getting done. I really like the idea of it. Is there a schedule of planned Boot Camps for the year or anything?
Warren and the guys have decided to slow down the boot camps at present, so they were talking of going to a couple of them every year rather than trying to push out a lot of them as they have been. So there may be another later this year but as far as I’m aware there is no scheduled one at the moment. The Infinity bootcamp gave about a months notice from the form going up on the forum to book. So best keep your eyes peeled, also at present Backstage pass holders have first option so joining backstage is a great way of upping your chances of getting a place. Hope that helps.

Final day. TAGs in starter sets seem to be too devastating. I`m wondering which starter set has the best chances to kill a rampaging TAG.
Hope that players have learned to properly arrange mass ARO vs TAGs.

The achievements are going quickly. I would be great at the suffer 5 crits in 1 game award, that happens to me all the time.

Whilst I understand the current decision to scale back the frequency of Bootcamps based on the resource issues I still think the events themselves are amazing.

HAPPY SUNDAY & HAPPY INFINITY… Inspired by all this, going to a demo of I:3 on Tuesday at my new LGS (new in that I just moved across the country)… I had played version 1 or 1.5 of Infinity years ago and looking to see how the 3rd Edition works and overwhelmed by all the awesome models!

I can’t believe the weekend is almost over, and it looks like the boot campers have had an awsome time.
After seing the latest pics of Age of Sigmar and remainign underwhelmed by the whoe thing, it really is refreshign seeing you guys having so much fun with infinity. And to my surprise, as I read about the fluff I’m liking a lot of the factions in the game, Ariadna, Haqqislam and the nomads look great.
Splendid job on the boot-camp and coverage of said event, nicely done chaps.

Thank you to everyone involved made for a really good entertaining weekend. I can understand what BoW was saying earlier about the Bootcamps being cut back slightly because they don’t want to end up as event organisers rather than information based variety magazine show. That description probably does not do what they do justice. However I would perhaps say if at some time you did decide to move and expand then maybe you guys BoW employ some sort of events organiser directly for this role. As always absolute riot real fun and wish and hope all who took part find themselves home safely and happy, Thanks to you all again.

I agree that the unpainted models on these tables still look cinematic. From the early footage from XCOM 2, I can see some similarities with Infinity in terms of art design, as well as the bright colours used in this terrain. I would love to play a human force against the Combined Army.

Great “battle reports”. Some are a little too short for my taste, but I guess it’s hard to know when something awesome will happen to actually film it instead of just talking about it afterwards. All in all great game and I would love to try it some time.
Hi always thought Yu Jing would be the faction for me, I guess they still are but I’m now going to specialise with the Japanese Sectorials. Superb boot camp, just wish I could have been a part of it.

Congrats on another bootcamp well done lads. Infinity is still on my “to do” list so no TAGs bought yet but I can see some dreadnoughts and penitent engines standing in to try out those rules in the near future.
And the tables looked great, I’m devoting this year to table building so I’m always on the lookout for awesome ideas.
I think k the boot camps are forgetting better with each game.

Great boot camp again all! What happens to all the tables when you’ve finished? Does Justin take them to an X files style warehouse and file them?
chatting to Warren about some of the tables and he was saying he has some big plans ahead for the TAG deathmatch table. So big infact that they have another ten feet of that table to bring it up to a stonking eighteen feet long!
Should be fun to see what happens with that in the future.

Thanks for the ruleset! Tag battles were something that the group that I try to go to does from time to time, sharing another ruleset with them might re-excite them of the prospects of TAG battles.

Amazing Terrain. I’ve built one of the 4Ground Arab buildings for my gaming club and that took several hours so all of that terrain…..amazing
Might have been quicker if I hadn’t used edges of the roof/ceiling (thinking they were waste sprue) for masts on my son’s homework pirate ship project. Managed to get the roof to slot in nicely by adding little sections of the optional plaster work around the edges- but very tricky.
No one at the club has noticed. Yet.
Fantastic set of videos, I found them watching the infinity beginner lessons. My group has been interested and we are getting ready to take the plunge!
