Kabuki Models Tease Us With Wonderland And Distant Egypt

It's not just Rommel-X that is getting an adversary in the future from Kabuki Models. As well as continuing their Sci-Fi series there are also some other miniatures on the cards. Check out two of the Work-in-Progress previews below...
Above you can see both Cleopatra and Alice, from Alice in Wonderland, getting the Kabuki treatment. Both are certainly looking to be a pin-up style affair that will be interesting display pieces and painting challenges.
I think I'm more interested in seeing how Alice turns out, especially since we saw some cool interpretations of her not long ago from Lead Adventure and even Infamy Miniatures.
Which of the two are you looking forwards to?

That’s a suggestive mushroom!
Kiss my asp?.
Plutarch on Cleopatra: “For her beauty, as we are told, was in itself not altogether incomparable, nor such as to strike those who saw her; but converse with her had an irresistible charm, and her presence, combined with the persuasiveness of her discourse and the character which was somehow diffused about her behaviour towards others, had something stimulating about it. There was sweetness also in the tones of her voice; and her tongue, like an instrument of many strings, she could readily turn to whatever language she pleased…”
Also, she had a massive nose, not the cute little button nose on this mini. Check out images of the marble busts that were made during her lifetime. You have to remember, the real Cleopatra was the product of almost a dozen generations of inbreeding. There are consequences for that sort of behavior.
I would like to see an artist sculpt a seductive image of Cleopatra using her real likeness. A sculptor who can successfully portray the irresistible seductiveness of Cleopatra’s personality (which was supposedly her strongest trait) using her real face is a sculptor with some serious talent.
