So this faction is basically the A Team of the universe 🙂
I like the small minion tanks… so cute . then BOOM!! .. Looks fun.

My largest faction :), but who can resist armoured mercenary soldiers with a bit of cyberpunk corporate espionage thrown in for extras. Love my little M8s and not so little Diamondback.

I think Black Diamond would be a good faction to use to get people in to the game who aren’t so invested in the anime style. They still have that vibe but it’s western enough for those folks too.
I love the little esper dude with the helmut too, wanted him for a long time haha

Before Vader was even mentioned, the second I saw Leopold Magnus I could hear Vader’s Theme/The Imperial March in my head.
Hmm… Viper looks an awful lot like a certain Major or should I say The Major 😉
Saw the Blitz Tank and imminently thought “Bonaparte” but the silhouette isn’t right, still adorably dangerous though
Black Diamond give me an imperium vibe from 40k. kinda like space marine and the scouts
But without all that pesky dogma. Still plenty of inter-faction politicking, though. The fact that they’re a mercenary army helped sell me on them, thematically.
Leopold Magnus always struck me as a cartoon villain, so I painted mine bright purple and green.
Evil-ish mercs for the win! Once I assemble my current starter I will have to see about getting Viper and perhaps that new medic model, too.

That shielding mechanic is neat.
My Black Diamond minis are painted as a tribute to Cobra from G.I.Joe. Leopold is Destro.
I love the chibi tanks and one shot but this faction has always felt the least unique

As cute is that tank is, nothing beats the WWII Japanese Type 94 Tankette ever to me.
I like the look of this faction, it is becoming a contender for something for me to pick up…
Best thing about Black Diamond is the auto-tank drone. 2nd best thing is the Diamondback. 3rd is their One-shot relic knight though I’m not wild about the pilot’s pose. The rest of the line looks a bit awkward due to the action posing.
SPM did some alternate sculpts for One-Shot and Calico Kate, not quite so cheesecake…you might be able to get your hands on one.

Every time I see these guys, the BLack Dragons in particular, I think of Halo and the Spartans…maybe it’s just me.
This will be my faction of choice. They are by far the coolest looking faction. As for the paintwork, who did it, the ant man. The individual managed to nail the iris, pupil and a spot for the reflection in the eye. Just mind blowing and inspirational!
Black Diamond look good fairly standard sci fi. Really like the Blitz Tank. The one thing that I can see is it looks like I will be a void type for sure at this point.
looks and sounds interesting, but i’m not sure if they would be my faction .. .well at least not my first one.

These are the guys for me. Would definately have to get one shot snd love the mini tanks, could image a whole load of them rumbling across the battlefield causing mayhem and destruction.

Lovin the look of these mercs! Why does Ninja Division have to make it so damn difficult to choose a faction?! Lol!
The characters look great. The militaristic look of the other models is not really my taste. So this won’t be ‘my’ faction.
But I still like the potential they have for the backstory.

Black DIamond are probably the most killy faction the game has. Some factions will be running a b-line to the objective, and with Black Diamond, your job is to kill everything before they get there.
The more of these factions I see the more I want to collect, games like this are great for gaming but bad on the bank balance for me
Interesting faction, particularly the back story behind them.
Shades of space marines and Enforcers, but those are my factions. Other than the secret agendas, not too sure where the “corruption” comes into play.

I’m REALLY starting to dig the idea of taking my Black Diamond models, doing some conversion work and painting them up as the cast of Dominion Tank Police. I mean c’mon, the mini-tanks alone will look adorable done up as Bonaparte…
Awesome looking models, obviosly the color siutes their style. But wow I am amazed at how much knowledge John has about his product, really great to be able to get an indepth look at these factions and get the whole back story behind all the characters.
Now this is more like, big black and mean, nice dark faction.

Doctrine are what I like, but these guys do have a western vibe that I can see people liking.
This was my 1st faction at the time (as it was the only one my buddy did not have).
I always take Sofia and her squad 🙂
One Shot is a great Relic Knight, very powerful as you start storing your Esper but, some of her abilities cost a lot of energy… but she’s awesome!

I like the idea of having the means to prolong the life of your tropps, if you have been paid enough money (have drawn the right Esper).

I really like the look of One Shot but the rest of the range were a little bit too generic sci-fi.
This was the first faction I bought a model for!
One of my favorite factions to play, these mercenaries really do have a good number of unique strategies you can follow.
Another fun faction to play, with a nice mix of strategies available (depending on which of the Questing or Relic Knight cadre leaders you choose to use).
This might be my faction!

Black Diamond are one of the largest groups I have in RK. I just didn’t realize they were bad guys when I got them…
Look solid and well balanced. Maybe a good all-round force: good to get started in the game.

I’m not sure what to think of this faction. I like the backstory and the models, but some remind me too much of the Mantic Enforcers from Deadzone and Warpath, personally I would like something different.
Definitely loving the look of this faction! Big stomps robots?? Sign me up!

Inwas already leaning towards these guys, and then I saw the mini tank. YES! All the yes for the mini tank. And the fact that so many differant paint schemes would work on these guys.

I like those models, too. Still not as cool as Noh though.

I can’t get excited about this faction, they don’t seem to have much character IMO. That being said they do seem to have some good background for story related gameplay.
Easy on the eye,but probably not for me. Ioove the tank though!

Anime DARTH VADER! ha ha. Great stuff. Nice background too, I like these guys as well. Though I think if I got a second faction it would be the corsairs but these are nice.
Once I have my Black diamond force painted up I plan on hopefully running a campaign at my local store. Need more blitz tanks though

Love Magnus and the aesthetic of this army.
These guys are kind of in the middle for me, the models look good and their play style is simple enough, I do love the minis for this faction especially One Shot, I really want to paint her.
Looking more into this faction they also have a really cool looking Field Medic I would love to paint and I did forget to mention how awesome Diamondback is with the massive axe.
