I really like the look of that character with the Knight as her “familiar.”
I love story progression with characters in a miniatures game. Always fun to paint up and have them in your collection. Can’t wait to read the story.

The future of this game looks really good! And suddenly Black Diamond and Shattered Sword became a lot more interesting just from those two artworks and the fluff behind them

The Necrosynths are a pain in the arse to play against.
What was the model with the lance? It looked like it was leaping or flying possibly. Anyways, they all look so cool. And pirates with a gatling cannon are always awesome.
I just noticed something. Either they filmed this almost a year ago, or they have had that table sitting in the back for a while. No complaints, just noticed it.
It was a good few months back they filmed it, maybe-May time I think, but certainly pre Games Expo.

Great to get a first-look at some of the new additions, especially good to see Isabeau becoming more important to the Shattered Sword; I tho k I may have found my second SSP Knight. Great to see Harker’s new outfit closer up too; both he and the Breachers will be great additions to my Corsairs so that the Rustbucket doesn’t have to do all the shooting.

And then you showed Harker.
Hah! As Harker was being shown off I was thinking to myself “With all those guns, if he doesn’t have a special ability called ‘Broadside’ I am going to be disappointed” – and I was not!
Broadside??? I love the look of the boarding pirates. I really look forward to seeing what they continue to do with this property.
I love the idea of evolving characters and advancing storylines.. makes the game feel more alive

I have to say I agree with Justin, I love the fact the story is advancing and it’s interesting to ee that established characters can develop the abilities of knights.
Haaa Man those new pirates are awsome they make me think of ”Albator the old comic that i use to see on TV in th 80’s” they just great ….. now i anot sure witch faction i want , but my 3 prefered are Black Diamond , NoH and the Corsair for sure , so for the 2 player starter box i hope they will be Black Diamond Vs Corsair 😉

space pirates for me, black dragons for the lad. Will Ninja/Soda Kickstart the two player starter pack or straight to retail?
There’s due to be a KS for the 2nd edition so I assume you’ll be able to get he 2-player starter through that or what until retail.

With what they’ve talked about in the video makes me wonder how some of the starter box questing knights might upgrade into fully fledged relic knights.
For black diamond it’ll be interesting to see where they take magnus maybe he/it may not get a mech-suit maybe something different?

Shattered Sword will always be my first love, but I really like Harker’s character. I’ve not had much luck in my first couple of games with the Questing Knight version of Harker, but once he gets a battleship to wear I think I’m going to be giving him another go.
He’s holding his cards close to his chest if you ask me, I wanted to know moooore! He mentioned resculpts in one of the other videos in the week, I’m interested to see what gets updated
My question is: “You were saying when Relic Knights boot camp is?”
Funny looking system I’m might dive into if MBP and KDM did not drain my wallet… heh.

I’d love to see Ninja Division have a big presence at UK Games Expo, anyone know if they or Relic Knights will be at UKGE this year?
They were there last year, but only with the games that Esdevium distribute for them, which isn’t Relic Knights. Hopefully, the coming RK V2 Kickstarter may mean a larger presence this year…
Yeh i noticed them with Esdevium but would love them to have a full on appearance. Fingers crossed this year.
They came over in 2014 and had their own stall, but I don’t think it was worthwhile for them. Especially as they couldn’t sell any SDE retail product. I would expect to see their UK rep and some Ninjas on the Esdevium stand again this year.
We (volunteers) ran some demo games last year. I plan on doing the same again, if you want to try it out.

Yes, she seemed a bit left out of the action so far. Hopefully this will give her a more central role.
I am actually surprised that it took so long for this next book to come out. But its nice all the same.
It was originally going to be an expansion to Darkspace Calamity, but at some point the decision was taken to make it a 2nd edition of the rules, which meant a delay. We did get the 1.5 rules as a free download plus a bunch of units from the book released last year.
Great now I need to watch Captain Harlock 🙂

The corsairs are getting some great models.

Being very inspired by your videos I just took of yesterday to visit a nearby gaming store. They don´t have a lot of stuff, quite boring, but they had some Relic Knights starters. I got myself two boxes (Black Diamonds and Noh) and when I came home and opened the Box of the Diamonds, I got very disapointed. I just took out those 5 footsoldiers and, to be honest, they looked crap. Bad castings, very little detail on some minis and the worst casted part are the weapons. The minis in the videos look much better. Anyone can tell me if I just had bad luck, or did I got an older box and they changed production quality in the meantime?
You’ve got the same minis as are being shown off on the video. They paint up perfectly well, as the video shows, though they range was switched to resin over a year ago to get the best quality they could get. Only the minis released since then are in resin, the previous releases are still plastic.

To my mind, characters getting upgraded is an excellent sign of a strong fluff and a game in good health. The future looks bright!

The big pirate/battleship guy reminded me of kancolle to some degree. Maybe he needs a bunch of cutegirl minions 😉

Love the fact that Relic Knights has lots more coming out in the future. Still a big fan of the Black Diamonds, have always loved evil factions and the darkside.

I was hoping for some more information related to the release window. Super hyped for these new models!
Evolving storylines are a great idea. It makes it easier for the company to introduce new stuff. Unlike other settings that are essentially static and have to come with outlandish reason why a previously “complete” faction now gets new stuff. Or not even bother explaining it. You know what I’m talking about.
Good to see they are going to continue to build on and not just recycle in a different box.
Can’t wait to see the new book.
So the 2 player starter is said to be made up of new Void and Radiant units. A little sad we didn’t get more info on Aya Beat.

I always like to see a game whose storyline not only progresses but you can see the characters change and evolve along with it.

When looking at getting into this game, I liked Cerci Speed Circuit after seeing Justin & John’s unboxing of Betty and Lug (and after seeing Marie-Claude’s Lug a few Gencons ago). Watching this week, though, I think I would go with Doctrine or Shattered Sword. Play styles of both look fun and the models are great.
I really want to see the space zombies in person…the sculpts that is 🙂

The Corsairs look like an interesting faction, the models look really nice as well. I like the sound of a two player starter set, as that would be a much better starting point into the game.

Really excited about this game. Love my Infinity but this looks like another great anime inspired game, and I love the activation mechanics.
I do like those corsairs, definitely making me want to go down the space pirate route!!
Anime Pirates, I think I have found the faction for me, the new models are just amazing.
Those corsair space pirates look damn nice. Might be my new favourite faction.

Holy cats! I’d been on the fence about getting another faction for RK, and I’m thinking the corsairs will be the way to go-go-go!
Glad to see that the game is looking to grow. Seems to be delevoping in a similar vein to Warmachine with the evolution of the Knights being similar to the evolution of the Warcasters. I like this, gives the world a really developed and lived in feel as characters grow.
All seem like cool factions, the pirates in particular.
Space pirates are always fun and Broadside just sounds great.
