So far during Relic Knights Week we have taken a look at each faction and what they have to offer but now it's time to discover the Prismatics; those souls driven by their own motives and moral code with no allegiance.

prismatic is coherent fluffy minis for RK and is very smart for the background and game !!!
Dark, very dark as all of the factions I intend to start with are Void 🙂
Haven’t see a faction that I wouldn’t like to own yet.
The Darkspace Candy and Zineda were the let downs for me of the range. The idea of them and their inspirations are close to my heart, the artwork for them is also top notch but the sculpts just didn’t do it justice for me, I want them! I want them so bad! but i want them resculpted!

It’s also worth noting that the sculpts for some of the SDE heroes based on video game characters are some of my favourites, some are quite in your face like Link but others are subtle like the Mario dwarf who, in style isn’t THAT mario but, you get the vibe and wanna smack a turtle or two with him
got to agree @redyeti mate. some of the older sculpts are looking a little tired.
the change in medium might prompt some resculpts at some point though.
the prismatic and the newer sculpts on the other hand look amazing and that 2 player starter will be the bench mark of what we can expect in the future I think.
SDE mini’s since forgotten king have been just about perfect. absolutely gorgeous product.
Huh, I have one of those prismatics. Now I’m kinda feeling like I’d like to find it, clean it and assemble it.

That reaper is a fantastic model, also got to like a producer that will give a nod to what inspired their range.
Those void minis are stunning
More cool minis. This game really has a fantastic looking range and very interesting rules.
Some really fantastic looking minis throughout the whole range, I would love to get a chance to play this and find out for myself how good the game is rather than than how good it looks

New darkspace models, i’m intrigued. I must know who they are.
There’s a good chance that John’s referring to the Gen Con 2016 Darkspace minis, which were not known about at the time of filming, but are Zelda and Kill la Kill themed. Of course, there may well be others we still don’t know about too.

I don’t think I would implement Dark Space, Void or Radiant Characters.
But that is just because I probably would play one of the ‘good’ factions and I only like the awesome ‘evil’ characters.

Harbonath reminds me of Zone of the Enders.
I bit the bullet and ordered me one Dan D Starship and co. All I know is that they’re Radiant. No idea what they do gameplay wise, but they look super sweet so I couldn’t resist. Can’t wait to put them together and paint them up!
Can the Void and the Radiant characters mix? With no minions as such, there doesn’t seem to be enough to fill out a true Prismatic warband.
Void and Radiant can’t mix. If you want a prismatic warband, you can take any unique character from Cerci Speed Circuit, Doctrine or Shattered Sword. You just can’t take minions from those factions.
There is at least one Void minion now, the Void Witch, and I’m sure more will follow soon. I believe that Void will be filled out into more of a faction, and Radiant too probably.
I hope to see more void and radiant minions and knights soon. It is really difficult to put together a coherent void cadre due to the large points costs of whats currently available.
I like the idea of void / radiant characters, but those dark space characters look amazing, I may just pick up a few of them as collectors pieces. Also I want all of the cyphers they all look awesome
Fantastic figures, there is something weird in their manga look, and great sukub at end, splendid. It will be my second favorite faction

I like the idea of variants of characters. It makes both business sense and consumer sense. They can sell more models and I can have more choices.

Loving the Darkspace characters, SO many references/shout outs, really want to see more of them, hmm, I wonder what Viper would look like as a member of The Shattered Sword.

Great looking figures there and amazing use of the current characters to give them an alternative universe feel. I really like that idea.
Going void versus radiant for a starter set looks like a smart move. Anyone can use it next to their specific faction. And the allegiance shifts of the dark space allow for a lot of combinations to be made.
Also a fan of the pop culture homages.
The miniature reaper was really awesome!
The dark space models seem to add a bit of fun and variety to the characters, nice idea.

The large model of “Harbonath” is just amazing, must be one the most dynamic large models I have ever seen, wow well done guys.

Good to see what the deal is with the Darkspace characters. I picked up sailor soldier Fiametta due to liking the figure, and was wondering why she was a different faction to standard Fiametta.
I use Darkspace Fiametta with my Shattered Sword sometimes – being able to blast your opponent without needing line of sight is great, even if it’s mostly a psychological threat.

The big anime-mecha grim reaper is a thing of beauty. Great paint job!
You know a miniatures game in great when every faction has cool models and interesting themes so that there is no faction that does not have something going for it. The same could be sead about the mercs faction from Relic Knight the models for this faction are great my favorite being Harbonath the Void Reaper.

Really like the idea of the multiple versions on characters. Harbinger is stunning!
The alternate sculpt call backs to inspirational sources are cool.
Harbonath, Amelial and the Black Diamond version of the Iron Chief are awesome models.
Ok that Void Reaper is seriously cool, even just to build and paint it would be work getting it.

I’ve been watching these videos all week and convinced me for starting the game. I was fortunate enough to get a really good deal online, buying a number of relic knights, and the shattered sword starter set. While the design is great, the casting is utter crap. I’m so shocked as to how much i will need to clean in order to put them together. While I will still continue to play the game, ninja devision seriously needs to find a new sculpting method to produce better quality casts. I don’t understand why ND will not use the same sculpting method/material prodos games use, to which they are both business partners. The fact this game raised almost $1m on kickstarter and produce this quality is stupid.

Ninja Division already changed production and do use Prodos. CMON handled production until late 2013 and did the range in PVC. Ninja Division released what CMON had made via the KS, and then switched to resin from there. The Shattered Sword starter is in PVC.
All of that said, I’ve every Relic Knight model bar one or two, and as the videos have shown the PVC is perfectly fine to paint up.
I like that the mercy are bolt ons. Top stuff

I liked the explanation for the darkspace version of the models, helps my understanding of them and why they exist.
Now I can’t wait to see what new Darkspace characters are coming 🙂

It will also be fun is they bring more void and radiant characters (and maybe minions?), it lets you play around your forces and be less predictable to your oponents.

I like there idea of being able to mix factions with this group.
If I have it correctly, I like the idea of dark space (opposite world) characters for some factions to make use of when they normally wouldn’t have access.
Just take my money already!!!!!!!!

Candy and Cola are a must like. I do like the “Well known Sniper” version too. I think i’d like a lot of these models as painting projects.

Once again, absolutely awesome models. I really like the style of this game, both playwise and the miniatures.
Always fun to see Candy and Cola in action (too bad they can’t run with the pirates though).
And if these Void types are anything to go by, the Noh Empire may just find it has competition for the title of most frightening outsiders.

Really nice miniatures, although my favourite from the range wasn’t shown which was the void witch. Interesting to see them being used to introduce new mixes into forces.
The Void Reaper looks pretty amazing.

I see they have a new prismatic squad out already. Sort of a neat way to add some functions or buff up the weaknesses of your cadre for a game.

This one is interesting for me. A wide range in quality on these sculpts. Some of them are incredible, and others seem like their first attempt at sculpting.
It always looked appealing as a game, some of the miniatures looked a little too cheesecake for my liking but the mechanics and gameplay are swaying me!
this is a neat idea, and a good way to hook in manga fans, are wee going to see any alchemists, full metal or otherwise?

Whether they can be fielded as their own faction or simply taken to supplement existing ones, I am a huge sucker for mercs. I love the way they can bolster the ‘theme’ of my force and of course I always like trying to find unusual synergies!
