Torros is right,

Greg was the inventor and behind the best RPGs ever written.  No exception.  Runequest and Pendaragon.  He also, I believe, gave the ‘green light’ for my all time favourite, for a host of wrong reasons, ‘Call of Cthulhu’.

He went through a lot, as far as I know, and lost Chaosium, was ever a company more aptly named, and then regained it.

I loved that fact that he linked all his games to his love of philosophy and things deeper than most designers appear have interest in.
