@avernos  … yes I scratch my head often too . Conversation at work last week (btw the person wasn’t involved in the conversation)

Me : Says something stupid to make light of a stressful, difficult situation

Others in conversation smile and a little tension is relieved

Butting-in-person: OOOOO you can’t say THAAAAAAT

Me : I just did….. It is a joke you know .. I am not actually contemplating doing it

Butting-in-person: yes  I know but what if someone heard it and got offended **

Me : ** inner monologue**  Well f@#$ me , and please %^^k off. Hypersensitive ^^%%$

 

None the less this is a great idea and I am keen to help out.
