Spent a chunk of time with this project today – I just had a real urge to allow myself to hyperfocus… so I did.

Moved onto painting the bases a nice rich brown ( @avernos tells me the ground was pretty much frozen during the landings)

All done, and starting to look like an army!

Give a bit of Drying Time…

Then add a leather brown rim to the bases – not sure why… just felt right to me…

Then break out a flock mix and a winter tuft set or two and get to working up those bases.

Gonna leave them to dry over night now and then tidy them all up in the morning bright and early.

Was nice to zone in and push through with this a massive thanks to @recon63 again for a wonderful project!
