Thanks to everyone who has responded. I kind of figured that it was a case of the ‘bland smurfs’ merging with the ‘poster boy problem’ and that seems to be the consensus here, too. Again, a reiteration that I realise a lot of the aggressiveness that I may perceive is far from intended, and I am rather pleased to be part of a community where this sort of chat can happen. While school might get in the way and I’m still annoyed at GW that my ‘all new’ Primaris army is already sort of obsolete, I might actually put paint to plastic on more of my Smurfs secure in the knowledge that just because other people don’t like them doesn’t mean they think less of me because I do.
