I can’t think of any other 40k factions that have a particularly disliked subfaction, or even a universally recognized default subfaction. Cadians for IG is the closest I can think of as the “default” but I’ve not heard any particular hate for them. Maybe it is because Space Marines have individual codes for the main chapters of is it really all due to the fluff?
