I will try and do more work on my bannerman, but it might have to wait for a week. Got a few things coming up before Reading Week that need working on… But we’ll see what happens.

Have you ever quit the hobby for a certain time?

I’m sort of always on the verge of this. I live in the arse end of nowhere with no gaming clubs all that close, my brothers moved out years ago (I really need to do the same thing as soon as I can afford it…), everything is expensive, particularly GW stuff…which is most of what I collect/paint/play, and I quite often have long periods of time where I am just disinterested in most things. The Event hasn’t helped much with that… 😛

If yes: what was the main reason?

See above. But mainly the primary reason for considering getting out of a particular game is usually the cost…such as GW literally pricing me out of their games a lot of the time. I usually have very modest infantry based armies with few of the heavy hitters and you just get stomped by anyone who has built the army perfectly for the current meta…

If no: did it cross your mind to leave the hobby and for what reasons?

I thought about dropping it during uni, but to be honest this year it became something I can actually share with people like through the projects log here which counts as social interaction at the moment! 😛
