I actually quite like the arcs in the games. The Game of Thrans game has them built into the bases and makes it so easy to know what arc you are in with a quick glance, usually. It’s more because I tend to use basing paints (though mine are drying out a bit much at the moment) and they are VERY easy to accidentally slip into the arcs and obscure them. Also means I need a basecoat on the bases, too, but that usually gets covered with a prime.
