I second the Battle Systems cardboard terrain. Speaking of card have a look at the newer card terrain from Corvus Belli for their Infinity game. I really love it and you can fill a 3×3 table with two sets. I wrote a project post about it – https://www.beastsofwar.com/project-entry/1770218/
