I’m sure that will change when the next new social media hype comes around.

Who’s old enough to remember (and posssibly have used) Bulletin boards, UseNet, MySpace and Hyves ?

Every generation gets the social media it deserves.

Heck, I suspect newer generations using different social media is part of their ‘rebelling against parents/older generations’ cycle 😉

I prefer forums myself, because then I can delay responding until I’ve got time. And those things can run on a server of my choice instead of having to trust a company to keep the site active and available without selling my data.
