@grantivanman What in the hell was that? Have you been playing with the World of Darkness crowd again?

@zoidinpinhead I caught some videos covering Partizan, it looked like some kick ass boards were done up.

Storm of Steel Wargaming put on a recap of Partizan that looked pretty good. I won’t say my feeling has changed from preferring smaller engagement on 6×4 tables. I do have an appreciation for all the effort for painting even down to the 6mm scale that those WWI engagements showed off.

I really liked how much work went into the Battle of Sargajas table with all the Gripping Beast plastics there were. I will reel in my only gripe that they could’ve been a bit more punchy visually. With that amount of minis out there they need to be knocked out. Speaking of GB plastics there were a lot of Vikings and medieval that I thought I recognized in others.

The sheer measure of some of the tables was impressive. I was curious about how the cherry trees were made for the Battle of Shimonoseki @11:56 of Storm of Steels video. I think Luke’s APS did a how-to long ago before he quit YouTube and still might sell the blossom bunches. I might check that out again

Henry Hyde had a pretty good take and I was pleased to see his coverage of participation games. SAGA Age of Chivalry and the Digital racing looked like they would’ve been good things to draw people into play. A couple of Mighty Empires might’ve been good as a diveraion from fantastic things. Further down that route Alexander the Brief could have been some time well spent getting into that era. I do hold that the Hairfoot Jousting took more of my interest from the board and ease of entry with regard to figure count.

*sigh* I might need to attend another con aside from Ghengiscon here in Denver.
