@sundancer it was a DVD (yes … those still exist) and it had an actual sticker with that holographic thing they do to ensure it is ‘authentic’.
Before installing the OS I had powered on the system and I think that’s when the memory training happens ?
Or did it really wait for the OS to install itself ?
I probably exaggerated quite a bit when I mentioned the reboots. It still felt like it was far more than needed, but then Windows isn’t a modern OS no matter what MS likes to claim.
My ProxMox server (which is a Linux machine at its core) never needs an actual reboot. At best it tells me to reboot when a system image has been updated.
And yeah … those rgb lights are more for the lolz. If things work out then I’m happy, but if they don’t then that’s not a big loss either.
I’ve noticed the wind too. Didn’t bother me much, but then my trike is low to the ground and I’ve got e-assist so it still was the standard +/- 22 minutes ride home 😀 (I think I did scare a few pedestrians 😉 )
