I got a first aid kit … somewhere. I think it’s in the kitchen. 🙂
I’d also say that complacency with this sort of stuff is the bigger danger.
If you treat it as the insanely dangerous thing it is then nothing bad will happen, unless you are really really unlucky.

Had to do another quick visit to the yellow blue furniture store for the two extra shelves I needed, but couldn’t carry when I got all the other stuff (I also forgot to count how many shelves I had planned ;)).  I think this was my fastest shopping run yet. I used the sort-of hidden short cut to get to the magazine and grabbed the things I needed. Waiting in-line at the self-checkout was the longest part of that visit. (why don’t they have a normal checkout with humans doing the work ? I should get a discount for doing their own work /rant)

With a umpteenth revision of my plans for the construct done (after a lot of cursing as Gemini once again managed to FUBAR the plans I had almost done) I think I am ready to go ahead. I didn’t get any shopping done yesterday due to having to wait for an eternity for the package to arrive. So glad I stayed at home, because there’d be no way I could have picked that one up at a local pickup point (or at the DIY shop itself). Too heavy for me.

Anyways … happy fun times with lots of building ahead. Provided I can source all the materials and things go as planned (ha! optimist that I am :D).
