‘easy’ is relative.
They’re still doing mono-pose for those starters. That makes things easier.
OTOH … the ‘easy click’ things that GW did for those spooks in the AoS starter were a royal pain in the posterior if you haven’t done any that sort of stuff before.

I had a few bits come in from the Bezos store for a future part of the project. Silly me unboxed that on top of the door I had primed yesterday. The nuts and bolts were covered in greasy/oily substance, so I had to clean that up to make sure the second layer would stick. Overall it was less than an hour work total, so not a huge loss.

So that sucked … but given that even if all things had gone well then the actual paint would still have to wait ’til tomorrow, because that stuff needs to dry anyway. The guidelines say ‘5 hours’ is enough, so if I wanted to I could start painting tomorrow morning.

As I had to wait for a package delivery to arrive I couldn’t go to the DIY shop for a resupply, so that will have to wait ’til tomorrow or the weekend.

In theory I could have the second panel painted tomorrow. Then it’s priming the 3rd saturday morning and painting it in the evening. The last one I could be doing on sunday.

// — edit —

Second panel painted … go me 😀

I did make the mistake of trying to ‘fix’ the first panel by painting another layer … only for me to accidentally paint the bits I had previously taped off.
I shall now have to think of a way to fix that mistake. OTOH … it was never going to be pure primer anyway.

*aarrrrggggghhh* getting that 2nd panel to sit back on the rails is a real pain in the posterior.
I did get the 3rd panel off the rails, so at least I can continue today.
and after many expletives the second one is back on track (ha!).

I noticed that I am running out of primer, so it’s off to the DIY shop for more stuff.
