Hi Otters,
Did I miss an update that there isn’t a weekender out? Is there going to be an XLBS?
Thanks fellow CoGs.
To quote @warzan from the YouTube comments on the xTool review:
The guys didn’t get a chance to film a weekender this week as we had both a themed week running and a big filming session for some cool upcoming hobby stuff 🙂 Just incase you are wondering why your stuck with my ugly mug!
So basically the team drowned in work. But there will be an XLBS tomorrow. From discord quoting @warzan again:
[21:07] Warzan: Hi ya yes there is an xlbs
Hth
Thanks @sundancer,
When expected unexpectedly no weekender which to be fair has been quite a while, there’s usually a quick mid week vlog saying weekender update in the past which if I may say if it works don’t fix it.
I’m not active on discord or watching the power tool blah blah as I’m with Gerry re 3d printers or a mdf cutter is a bit of a no, so missed the comms, for such annoucements, rule of KISS – keep it simple stupid.
But still got your hobby hangout this week to catch up on, which for anyone who isn’t aware is a bit like xlbs, with more swearing and less trains 🙂
Argh, gawd no, spits coffee, I meant that there’s less about trains and is a good thing 🙂 Although I did find lloydes discussion about scales interesting, Terrain and all that being often what scale fits right.
I fel like I’m being slowly turned to the dark side 🙁
I did chuckle at the laser MDF cutter. It may cause you to go blind, or cause death if you cut things you should not.
“Oh sounds fun I am in on that”
Cost 1,000 Euros and you have to build itself !!!
“Maybe not then…..”
Yeah, bit weird there was no post on the website regarding the Weekender.
The laser cutter review was interesting. It’s quite cool that laser cutters are now attainable for small businesses or very serious hobby makers. It’s a good thing there’s a sizeable barrier of entry, with the cost and having to build it. The average gamers would end up creating some damage. People are already poisoning themselves by mishandling the resin printers.
