I think he should be looking down the back of his couch, not his porch 🙂

    Or in his Porsche

Well… will EU backers get their stuff in 2025? It remains to be seen.

So bloody typical of CGL, isn’t it ?

“Asia is done” … except it isn’t

“We’ve completed the documents for customs” … except they didn’t

“it’s cleared by customs” … except it still isn’t shipping

Like talking to a politician who can’t speak truth and is always trying to cover his behind.

CGL has given us yet another glorious update …

And they tell us that EU pledges have finally left customs and are arriving at the hub.

    I think it will be Christmas 3025 … 😉

I do wonder what wonderful excuse we’re going to get in next weeks Tuesday ‘update’.

    Dog ate their homework ?

I know it’s not going to affect this kickstarter, but won’t the tarriffs being imposed on China by america have an effect of a every  other kickstarter that hasn’t shipped yet? So many have their plastics made in China!

Only if the products get shipped to the US first. I guess these tarrifs would be an incentive to establish trading hubs/distributions in parts of the rest of the world to circumvent that.

As @sundancer says @pagan8th it would only affect those Kickstarter’s that ship their goods direct from China to the US before then shipping them out around the world. Most *cough catalyst* are sensible enough to ship them directly to hubs around so it would sadly be a problem for any US customers but wouldn’t affect anyone else.

    @grantinvanman I’ve seen that cartoon … it’s spot on 😀

Anyone want to bet on the odds of CGL actually shipping anything in the EU next week ?

I wonder what effect all the things the orange cry baby has done will have on CGL. I bet they’re cooking up new excuses as we speak.

    I. Just. Can’t.

    January 28, 2025 CGL:

EU: The shipment has reached the Hub and is getting checked in!

    February 4, 2025 CGL:

EU: The shipment has reached the Hub and is getting checked in. Expected start on fulfillment is still next week.

How? Double check in? Brought it item per item via African Swallow and Carrier Pidgeon?

Can you PLEASE make up your mind!

@sundancer there was an additional update where they mentioned 10-2 as the day they would start shipping from the hub.

Either they’re giving us details that most crowdfunding projects avoid … or they’re once again hiding more incompetence on their part.

I suspect it’s the latter and it’s probably related to the hubs not getting paid (on time).
