And … as predicted : shipping has not started on the 10th.
Latest update says that it should start ‘this week’ … and it’s wednesday already.

EU: Fulfillment should begin this week, and as soon as we get word from QML we’ll let you know.
Anyone taking bets?
February 12, 2025 at 11:59 am #1915606My best on no shipping this week and a update at the standard time next week.
I’m so glad this saga is over for me, completely killed my interest in the game
February 12, 2025 at 12:19 pm #1915607February 12, 2025 at 3:00 pm #1915642I reckon they will announce a shipping date of 1st April…
And on April Fools Day the update will be….
February 13, 2025 at 4:27 pm #1915740Reading from another backer regarding digital goods :
“… Some digital stuff for the Clan Invasion Kickstarter just arrived a month ago (Almost FIVE years after finishing the KS), …”Yep … these fckers didn’t even finish their previous Battletech kickstarter and they didn’t do a single thing to prevent any of this from happening again (unless you count hiring someone to steal recipes as a thing).

February 14, 2025 at 4:15 pm #1915910Just in:
We have the official word! Packages have started processing today!

Do I believe it? No.
Do I have an email from fulfilment? Also No.
Your mileage may vary.
February 14, 2025 at 5:25 pm #1915921I think their communications ‘expert’ opened up the thesaurus and found a new word to post …
February 14, 2025 at 7:05 pm #1915922Processing – the act of doing nothing whilst trying to placate angry backers.
I suppose there will be lots of so-called community sites and influencers that take money to push the next load of KS that CGL use to grab cash from suckers.
February 17, 2025 at 10:24 am #1916108Was just reading the rather insane VAT rules when importing goods from the USA to the UK. NOW the importer (in the USA) has to pay the VAT (20%) when the goods are imported), they can then claim the VAT back from HMRC at the end of the tax year. So if GGL are strapped for cash, it may well be they are delaying the import to the UK until as near to April 5th (so they can claim things back as quickly as possible) as they can. Now this may not be the case, I’m just bouncing things around in my poor old head. But it seems daft that now everyone that attempts to ship goods into the UK has to be VAT registered (with all the paperwork that entails), it used to be the VAT was paid by the customer (at point of delivery). It looks like that system broke down post BREXIT, so HMRC came up with this “workaround”. I was prompted to check when reading on the recent Kurisan article here on BoW, and when going to their website there’s a big caveat for ordering from them to the UK (I was sure they must have got things wrong….but no they didn’t). But I imagine a 20% charge on all the Kickstarter packages is going to be rather large. I also imagine this is going to mess up ALL Kickstarters that try to ship to the UK (you gotta love how BREXIT has royally shafted all the small business owners both here in the UK and now worldwide trying to do business with UK customers). I think it’s also the case that CGL probably didn’t realise that these rules would be in place (the rules had changed AFTER the Clan Invasion Kickstarter and prior to this one) 🙁
February 18, 2025 at 4:03 pm #1916382THE WORLD IS ENDING!
Just received this email:
Dear Tim Albers,
Your QML Catalyst order has been shipped!
Your parcel should be with you within the next 4 – 7 working days. Please allow up to 5 working days for your tracking to activate.
So theoretically my parcel can be with me before tracking goes active XD
February 18, 2025 at 4:10 pm #1916383What sort of Cowboy outfit are they using that has a tracking code that doesn’t activate until 5 days after shipping?!
February 18, 2025 at 4:14 pm #1916384I have no clue but in the URL is just a plain DHL code. Code says “package announced electronically”. Which is DHL speak for “somebody printed a shipping lable with your address on it” XD
February 18, 2025 at 4:19 pm #1916385Ah, well at least its going to get into the hands of DHL and should arrive at some point 🙂
