Well up for this! I have a clear weekend, clearance from the long haired general to attend and I‘ve even managed to free up funds cos it’s my birthday next week and asked for cash for this. Just need to do the most difficult bit and get a ticket. Wonder what other hotel accommodation will be available, following the sad demise of the Breasemount ☹️
I hear Justin’s rates are really low, you just need to cuddle him whenever he asks 😀
Very excited about this one – happen to be on holiday from work that weekend… like fate knew
That seems like a price that might be a bit too steep to pay, what with his “swampy” declaration on this weeks XLBS ? ??
I’ve booked the days off, whatever happened to the Breasemonut???
Ah! he retired, say no more!
For those that have been before, what’s the score with flights from England to Northern Ireland? Seems rather expensive for such a brief trip ot am I going about it the wrong way?
defintely gonna be up for this. My first ever Boot Camp o.O
Sounds like the airlines in the UK are just like the ones in Canada . I can fly from Calgary to Toronto ( half way cross the country ) for $1500 , but I can fly to Germany ( half way around the world , almost ) for $700 , WTF ????
Hi @darthcheese, the last couple of times I’ve been on a boot camp I’ve tried to get there on the evening of Thursday and leave either late Sunday, or at some point on Monday. It makes more of a weekend, there’s far less panic trying to get everything built on Friday and you can have a great laugh with the team on Sunday afternoon for free gaming. Flight wise it has normally cost £75-£95 but I fly from Newcastle into Belfast International then hire a car (£60) then try and meet up with some other boot camp members to share the journey.
The big unknown will be the cost of accommodation.
If anyone spots the ticket release please put it up on here. Cheers all.
Wonder where thay are using?
Been looking at places in the area, most dont look big enough for Gerry never mind the rest of us.
Well now I am in a bit of a quandary about this I want to go because its a bootcamp and missing a bootcamp for me is just not the done thing. However it is BA again and I did the last bolt action one and have not yet painted up my minis from that yet…so do I really need more minis for my collection?
Yes. Yes, u always need more minis!!!
@CommdoreRob if I waited to do things until after I’d finished my current projects I would never get out of the house 😀
