Fear not fair… er… fair skinned(?) @sundancer… Horatio Noseblower to the rescue! If you want to get more crazy with displays Luke Towan on YouTube can give inspiration to terrain interests. If you want to work away any flab from sitting down to hobby have some Athlean-X to chew on and use as a knowledge base to work out. Perhaps you might enjoy some spicy anime reviews, since there were a few hobby shots of Boba Fett being done in from of what was either DBZ or FairyTail, then Nux Taku might be able to provide binge video.

I will forego the nuclear option of spamming more music up here with Nightmare as the theme. I will say that the competition looks a little grim from the poll results. The judging is quite tribal to 40k, the small fan base of the channel on Discord and the bar is very… very low for quality. Yes, I’m biased to myself in this as my effort for that witch shows not only in paint but in picture taking. **kicks rocks** There will always be more and I already have other projects.

@rayzryr the horde grows! Really nice orcs. might inspire me to have a look at Kings of War Vanguard and do up an orc force (yeah, because I need another project in the queue…  😛 )

@dawfydd mice progress on the wolves. Are the different colours for different packs or are you going to run together for a bit of contrast? Really like the way the scheme on the knights has turned out.

@mage you are clearly a crazy person 🙂 Very ambitious project and solid results even with the compressed timeframe. hope you are taking breaks now and then and not burning yourself out or doing damage to your wrist/back/eyesight. Ork vehicles were basecoated last weekend – detail and weathering happened this weekend just gone. So not as much of a hobby-push as you have had this week 🙂

@horati0nosebl0wer yes keen to give the light a go – still haven’t managed it. I also got some new glasses about 6 months ago for up close work which I still haven’t tried yet – I have an outlandish theory that actually being able to properly see the mini might improve my painting results. I know, it’s revolutionary and a little out there but it just might work… I’m still running with my phone camera for shots, will probably need to look at upping my game on that front too. Some surprisingly good stuff in those D&D and Pathfinder lines – I make a point of going through the blisters whenever I see them in a store. One day I might even get around to painting them 😛

@sundancer great SWL work! And check out communion After dark if you are short on stuff to listen to (and like EBM/Gothic/Dark electro and can cope with well-meaning people accidentally butchering the German language 🙂 )

Hey,

So motivation has been low, and real life demands have been high. So I’ve not been engaged much with hobby. I have got some work done on the Orcs, and since I’m just AP method they’re close to done.

I’ll be home a little earlier from work tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll be in a better state to respond and interact?
