Campaign now live and ends in 30 days.

This uses the WOIN system (d6 attribute + skill vs difficulty number) which looks okay.

Shipping looks expensive. Books are unlikely to be available at retail in any great numbers, so this might be a dead game system right out of the gate. Caveat Emptor.

Might have been better to wait for Warlord to do a JD skirmish game (but that’s on the cards for coming soon.tm). I see that they might do a Johnny Alpha supplement. Ideally they would do that next and thanks to Warlord there a nice range of mini’s now available (would need more “not Johnny Alpha” hero minis tho to be more useful for an RPG (as Johnny and Wulf make up the main force for most of the skirmish scenarios)).

The RPG has been 2 years in development so unlikely they could tie in with Warlord 🙂 I seem to recall Warlord stayed away from Dredd as the first miniatures game due to issues with previous games that they did not want to be associated with. I think Dredd will come out from Warlord, maybe 2019? Rogue Trooper is an obvious choice for Warlord as well.
