The last couple of months (basically starting from when the COVID pandemic hit the fan), I have been comitted to getting all of my dark elf models painted in order to get the army ready to play The Ninth Age! This attached picture is the latest addition to the army: a fearsome lady ready to roll! Together with some friends we are doing a painting competition where the goal is to just paint a single model of any size, and I hope my small girl will be able to compete against behemoths and bloodthirsters, haha!

Now, on to the next painting challenge!

Potato phone shot of pretty much everything I’ve painted since March lockdown began. All of this was sprues and laser cut sheets before that date. Unpainted mini is a Carnevale freebie – she’s about to have a very bad day.

Alright!  Finished my Reaper Bones Stone Golem, from their first KS.  I wanted to practice painting white stone, using GW recipe from Aziryte Shattered Plaza box, for future projects (including said Plaza, next summer since their not yet primed 😉 ).

I’m quite happy with it.

This week i have been painting up a forgeworld avatar that i had to convert quite a bit due to the model being pretty badly squished in a badly thought out storage accident, a few parts like the sword and head were beyond repair.
Turns put some of the wraith parts and some green stuff to cover the gaps solves the problem.

No painting yet I’m afraid, but I’ve begun a project for how I’m rebuilding my hobby  space and seeing what I can salvage.

Lockdown Leisure League: Rebuilding

And here’s what I’ve managed in the last couple of weeks:

I’ve gone through my Core Space sets, seperating out the minis in preperation to clean up as I’d love to get them painted up. I’ve also brought a load of clear acrylic bases as it feels like a crime to cover up those lovely map designs that Colin & co have come up with….

In anticipation of the first part of the Clan Invasion, shifted my various Battletech minis to a more easily accessible box, again with the ultimate intent of basing everything on clear acrylic bases…

Oh, and what’s this? New Brandon Sanderson? New Brandon Sanderson 😉
