Just noticed that Modiphius seems to basically have nearly everything they do in regard to Fallout on sale at 33% off.
I’ve not noticed them do a sale like this where it covers almost all their SKUs. Does this hint at perhaps their licence is perhaps coming to it’s end (and with the success of the TV series, I’d imagine Bethesda would be ramping up the price to acquire a new licence (or renew)?
Fallout Vault 33% Sale – Modiphius Entertainment
Or am I getting a bit paranoid these days? You read such horror stories about miniature/boardgame companies coming up a cropper with all things IP related. I do hope not as Modiphius has built up a large range of both minis and scenery .STLs (far more than I would have expected over the years while Fallout was in it’s “fallow” stage (as nothing had happened with the franchise since the rather disastrous release of Fallout 76 in 2018) 🙁

A bit more of that I’d think. Modiphius has just released a new version of Fallout Factions, a new solo RPG and what not. I don’t think there is any end in sight (but I might be wrong).
Maybe it’s just plain old “it’s not selling as well as we would like” marketing 😉
Edit: and Fallout 76 is still around much to my surprise!
February 19, 2026 at 8:32 am #1964693I was going to respond, there are all new versions of Factions coming, so this seems like a clearance sale.
February 19, 2026 at 5:15 pm #1964744It is starting to feel like a yearly thing, because they did a 33% discount not too long ago as well.
I guess they like the number (vault 33?) and they get good margins.
Didn’t the new season for Fallout tv-series start again ?
That may be another reason for them to promote themselves a bit.February 19, 2026 at 5:46 pm #1964746They also do black friday sales and offer big discounts on a lot of stuff.
I suspect the discount on Fallout was due to the second series airing on prime.
February 19, 2026 at 8:41 pm #1964771My guesss is a bit of inventory clearance piggy backing off of new announcements.
Cubical 7 had 80% off on the GW rpg stuff recently, sometimes its best to get some money than bin the stuff. Storage costs money and dead stock impacts accounts
February 20, 2026 at 12:53 pm #1964803In summer 2025 Modiphius announced a 2nd Edition of Wasteland Warfare for release in Q2 2026, and they are making changes to the miniatures:
Initially the game will be launched with box sets, introducing the new gameplay and providing new plastic models to the already extensive range of Fallout miniatures Modiphius manufactures. “The game will still be using our high-detailed resin miniatures, will be compatible with the new plastic sets we’re introducing, all at the same 32mm scale, so if you have an existing collection of our Fallout minis you’ll be able to start playing straight away,” says Modiphius’ Head of Brand, Samantha Webb. “While the scale will remain the same, we’ve been listening to the wider community in terms of detail, and so the style of our miniatures will become bolder, allowing their details to really pop on the table and make them easier to assemble and paint.”
February 20, 2026 at 10:29 pm #1964844I have some of the old minutemen sculpts. I have also seen a lot of unpainted second hand morphidius miniatures. They seem to be inferior to a lot of the newer products. So yes I would not be surprised if they are trying to clear out the clunkier looking models now that they have established themselves better in the miniature market.
February 21, 2026 at 11:57 am #1964859it is kind of nice to see that they’re making ‘old’ sculpts cheaper.
There’s this other company that’s asking for extra money whenever they try to sell their old crappy sculpts.February 21, 2026 at 12:31 pm #1964861Also let’s not forget that the initial Fallout minis came in two flavours: high detail, expensive resin cast and cheap “game plastic” minis.
