Good afternoon, everyone!
The Sitrep Channel will be hosting another Live Stream on Twitch tonight at 7:30 PM East US time.
We’re really trying to fulfill our promised Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday schedule for you guys, so I hope we’ll see some of you there!
Swing by to see what we’re up to in the world of Modern Military Gaming Hobby. Let us know what you’re up to, or just shoot the **** regarding Modern Military Gaming!
Sorry fr the double post – still not sure why new post topics are not appearing at the top of the running order.
STREAM ON NOW! Yay! Photoshop maps.
That was interesting to watch but a little too advanced in regards to techniques being used for me to follow and understand exactly what you were doing
Thanks @gladesrunner and @torros – apologies for the bad audio (first Photoshop stream you could hear the PC fan blowing very hard) – that was the wrong mike selected (internal mic is right beside the laptop cooling fan) – second stream was a little better but again I had cooling issues, I think my scaled export resolution was too high in OBS, I have dumbed it down to 1280p and seem to be streaming with fewer issues.
I feel like every stream I encounter and resolve a new technical issue. I just hope I’m inching toward a place where I actually have some idea what I’m doing.
Torros – do you work with Photoshop ? It’s definitely the kind of software that no matter how much you think you know about it, there’s always some technique, tool, or trick someone else knows that you don’t. 😀
So today’s live stream (Sunday May 19 – 8PM UK Time / 3PM East US Time) will take a look at expanding the AirWar C21 system from head-to-head dogfights to more mission-based scenario-driven games. Here we see HMS Galmorgan and HMS Alacrity, two warships tasked with bombarding the Port Stanley airport to make sure it remained non-operational in the wake of the Blackbuck bombing missions and the Harrier strikes that followed.
This move prompted waves of Argentinian bombing strikes, which were in turn engaged by Combat Air Patrol (CAP) missions of Sea Harriers off HMS Hermes. These are in turn counter-intercepted by escorting pair of Mirage III EA fighters. But the ships can also defend themselves against the attacking Argentinian Skyhawks, with 20mm and 40mm AA guns and Sea Cat SAM systems.
Check us out on the Sitrep Twitch Channel and see how we do! Will history repeat itself? Or will the Argentinians score another upset against the Royal Navy?

@oriskany I don’t use really for anything like you do. I tried a few times to get to grips with it. Still don’t really understand layers and how to use them as well as the rest of photoshop to be honest
