I have read all the books that have been available here (australia), played the computer games ( gwent is NOT part of The  Witcher, it should be dice poker, more skill required), played the RPG. Now am hoping that the netflix series will follow and be as good as the other parts of The Witcher world that I have delved into, and thoroughly enjoyed!

Hollywood is awesome at screwing up perfectly good IP and mucking with it either by a director or screen writer believing he can build a better story or the need to push a political or social agenda or the cater certain demographic.

I hope for the best but fear that they will screw this up as they do many other movies.
