Witty repartee in 7th Sea was definitely promoted when I played it @blinky465 It was quite fun to have the swashbuckling adventure with the slash of steel and cuts of sharp tongues. Best to allow the Montaigne their feints to cut them when their insults rang hollow (just watch out for the Valroux tagging).

I’m feeling refreshed again and starting into my Amazons this year. Time to hurry up and finish the Arabian Knights since it’s marked for Spring Clean of last year.

I loved the innovation of the Monkey Island combat system. How do you do combat in a text based RPG? Base it on your ability to insult your opponent. Absolutely brilliant. How do you escalate that in the sequel? Now your insults have to rhyme.
