May 18, 2019 at 11:50 am #1392052Managed to finish these two today for a friend. Its been really nice picking up a paintbrush again and although the first one prior to these was a little shaky I am very happy with how these two turned out.

May 18, 2019 at 3:50 pm #1392120Just finished Rollo, really poor connection between the arms and body but with green stuff got there in the end.

May 18, 2019 at 7:43 pm #1392196Still working on my 2008 Astra Militarum Regiment. Great progress has been made. All the original gang now is painted. Some touch ups, maybe some transfers could be done, changing a few utility belts. One can always improve – but I’m calling them done.
In the interim I’m now in the process to get the regiment in compliance with 8th Edition 40k. I added the $10 box of 5 mono pose guards men to fill out one my squads to a proper 10. Have a full infantry squad box that I’m assembling to get the other 2 infantry squads up to 10. A command squad (probably another platoon hq) is in the wings with some more infantry.
On the painting table I have a Missionary and The Regimental Advisors (Master of Ordnance, Master of the Fleet, Astropath), Primaris Psyker and the above mentioned Infantry (5 of 10 are assembled and primed).
Just finished up 3 Wyrdvane Psykers and Preacher with a Chain Sword.

I Have a Tau Kill Team that I found in the Big Blue Box up thread. From the previous Kill Team Box Set (circa 2017). Painted up the Marines that came with it as Deathwatch. The Tau though…

Not a well executed paint job. First time painting white to match the unit on the box. I could leave them as a reminder of where I was, but do want to strip them and start over. Giants are still primed and ready too, but really want the Guard force to be done.

Been busy with Gnoll Coward, Gnoll Fielding and The black gnoll of Calcutta.
Also love my Zombie made from a Gripping Beast plastic Vikings body and Mantic Games Ghoul hand and Zombie head.
May 19, 2019 at 6:20 pm #1392394@dugthefug1644 those names deserve PUNishment….
The zombie looks like he’s doing the Thriller dance! lovely idea though.
a bit of a change for me here, its wyrm time.
The Aedwyrm from Oakbound studio, been sat around for a while so I decided to base it and hopefully that will kick me into actually painting the beastie. The base is the back off an old picture frame, lots of filler and stones from the garden, and now to wait, forever, for it to dry.
