I’ve been trying to get quicker at painting – losing two full days on a single mini, which looks – at best – average is really dispiriting. So I set myself a target of 90 minutes. It forces you to focus only on the important stuff.

Some contrast paints, a bit of wet blending (first time) edge highlights and then painting with my tongue sticking out to get the eyes. There’s loads more I feel I should do. But if I call it done and come back to it in three months, I reckon I’d still be pretty happy with it – in which case, it’s finished!

Hi all, my first ACW miniature ever is ready for combat. This is the beginning of a new project. I hope you like it. It was a lot of fun to paint this great Perry miniature and I’m looking forward to paint some more. 🙂
