Was trying to work out what to use for the next wash stage and found an pot of GW’s old Brown Wash, which seemed like a good next step:

not quite sure about the results. Perhaps should have thinned it a bit for a first wash to get a better gradient….

Well I left the wolves to dry and decided to burn through my Knights. Barring transfers for House Mortan, and dumping a couple of pots of Stirland Battlemire on the bases, I think they’ve come out quite well.

The moment I saw that old GW paint (ink/wash), I internally screamed ‘Noooo don’t!’ Instant reaction haha.

I have a few kicking around and they really don’t go on like the new washes. They do generally need thinning. I’ve been caught out.

That’s not to say you have though, the wolves look good! Thought I’d share……

I have been chipping away at bringing my Dropfleet Commander Shaltari up to full force strength and getting the Frank Miller version of Oliver Queen ready for a Batman tournament next week!
