55K Likes Challenge Complete! Winner Announced Soon!

In the wake of Infinity 3rd Edition Week we set you a challenge of pushing us on to 55,000 Likes on our Facebook page and we hit it last night! One lucky winner is now going to get their hands on two 300 point Infinity Armies made using the forces from our battle reports!
The two armies are going to be made out of the Operation: Icestorm Starter Box plus four expansion sets that include TAGs and some more soldiers to put extra boots on the ground.
We will be announcing the winner on The Weekender episode of Saturday 15th November 2014 so keep that date in your diary!

Uh uh ho, you guys at BoW got us. You know we would do short of everything for the prize and capitalize on this. Well played, well played give away. So we need promote you for a one in 55.000 possibility to win? Hell yeah… I’m on it.
On a serious note I think we need to stress how great an improvement is for the Infinity segment on BoW the joining of Killian as a resident presenter. For the first time an actual player pushing the stuff, and it does a friggin’ good job as he know the game and like it for real!

I know I have almost no chance to win (not very lucky lol), but I would be lying if I said this did not Jazz up my day!! Very excited, but even if I do not win I can be happy that I will finally be getting into Infinity (never played) with Operation Icestorm. No longer will I be forced to drool over the mythical Infinity weeks. Now I will be able to drool and then go play lol
I have not used facebook since 2009….my account is not active, nor is the email that I used to set it up…. you bastards….I hate facebook….:) :s

Man I just Liked the page. Cant believe i hadnt done so before.
Genuinely dislike (no pun intended) Facebook Only competitions. There are many people leaving Facebook again now or who stayed away from it in the first place – all for good reasons. Why not rather focussing on the BoW community here on your very own site?
@siregodefroy very understandable, but let me try and explain the reasoning behind this type of activity 🙂
We do competitions for our community members here on BoW pretty much every week. However ‘our community’ lives not only hear but on Twitter, Youtube and Facebook (and Google + etc)
We have to take the hobby to where people are ‘active’ and invite them to come here, so we do where possible focus on growth of our community – healthy growth is important.
This is part of how we achieve that 🙂
Naturally I would do so, but as I already did a LONG time ago I don’t have to :D.

Have only been in the table top hobby for a month now, practising my painting and and assembling on ‘hand me downs’ and I felt I was finally ready to take the plunge into one wargame that gave me multiple play style options. I must say. Infinity has done that for me :’)

I really want to get into Infinity, but I’m darn near broke. WInning this would be great.
Bring ‘m on. There is always room for some more. And I still haven’t had any from Infinity.
I’m really hoping that a small wormhole will open up and instantly teleport me to the interior vault of a large Swiss bank and then shunt me over to Ballymena where I can share my good fortune with the BoW, drinks on the house, free minis for all, then have the wormhole take me home before I’ve outstayed my welcome.
Sadly, despite reviving a FB account, I find this a slightly more likely outcome than me actually winning one of the prizes – but who knows (shukka, shukka, shukka) maybe daddy will roll all criticals? 🙂
