But probably the first turn went that way because everyone forgot about the Burst Bonus that Fireteams provide, the Kuroshi shouldn’t have survived that long.
Those JSA are brutal, poor Tim had some unlucky dice rolls.

A good lesson in not bunching up to much in deployment. Rooftops can be tempting places to stick total reaction units or sniprs, but it is often more effective to place them where they can watch a good fire lane or 2 but not be seen by the entire board. It forces your opponent to spend orders getting a line of fire on you and restricts their options, and draws them out of good positions.
Such nice models. Infinity games really look something special 🙂

Interesting, my regular opponent plays Ariadna most of which came from the USAriadna box set while I usually play JSA.
Really loving the new designs, can’t wait to get these on the table.

Having been on the receiving end of turns like that, man i feel ya. That being said, i would love to be the one dishing out that much pain! The game seemed to go that way because of some crucial unlucky dice rolls, which can happen. I wish we had a chance to see a bit more back and forth play, but I think every unit did something at some point so they were featured well.
I kinda feel like it was a missed opportunity not to have an alternate head sculpt for the daiyokai…

I’ve not played so the game seems quite complex, but fun.
Was a bit one sided after that miraculous motorbike turn 1, Tim then just really didn’t have an answer. I think he go bullied out of the game a little bit.

That tactic of using an impetuous Lt.to storm the lines and ravage the enemy was amazing. I never would’ve dared to try that. Mainly because I would’ve gotten shot out of the saddle as soon as I moved. 😀 Amazing dice rolls always give great cinematic moments. 😀 😀

I disagree with almost half of Bostria’s tactical decisions, but with dice rolling like his… well can anyone argue?
Tim, what can we say…. We have all been there.
that turn one was just devastating, after it ariadna just couldn’t get a brake. as usual Carlos kicked ass while demoing the brand new set, but lets get real that was very soft ariadna list which had problems in the list building part, because Tim try to use the entire ariadna box instead of going for higher model count or camo list.
Really liked the aggressiveness of the JSA troops.
A good showing for the ‘new’ faction.

that first turn was decisive for sure. Damn I want some infinity bikes. Regardless of how they perform, I just want to paint them. I haven’t done any non metallic metal on larger surfaces, I’d love to try it on a bike before I get a tag

I’m very curious how the complete army will turn out. Looks great so far.
It’s still CQB/CC sectorial, but there are more options for fire support. Ryuken and Oniwaban with SMGs are game changers.

Regarding the game though, whilst a matchup against Yu Jing would have probably been more appropriate, it's still good to see JSA in action. I certainly can't wait to get my hands on the JSA set.

Back when I started Yu Jing, I decided I would collect all the faction, except for the Japanese… and now that they’re no longer part of the faction, turns out I’ll have to get them too! Drat, all my plans lay in ruins! 😛

Carlos is the Dice God, it`s the only explanation as to why he always rolls good.

That is the thing with Infinity, sometimes it can be really brutal on a little misplacement and the opponent spotting that hole in your setup. Even more so with some unlucky dice rolls.

This was he first play through I’ve seen of Infinity, though I’ve played about 10 games. Watching @bostria in action was amusing, I feel for Tim: My last game went something rather like that, only replace the biker with a drop trooper…
