Infinity Operation Coldfront Week: Troop Profiles

Carlos has signed in from across the seas to bring us the Troop Profiles for Operation Coldfront.

The models are fantastic, it's true to say however we need to find out what they're capable of. In this instance, the Armata 2 Proyekt "Ratnik" is able to wield a huge hammer that can be used for melee attacks or you could simply throw it at your enemy for some epic cinematic experiences.

Not only are Bolts useless as Drop Bear troops (which was supposed to be their signature weapon) now other factions are stealing PanO tech.

I love the antipodes, but wish they had some staying power. But at 8 points, likely to pay for itself.

The Streloks are very interesting.
Counterintelligence sounds good, not too powerful, but strong enough to make your opponet think twice. Very nice.

Aramata2 and Yadu profiles are SICK!
Sadly PanO is not the faction that gets useful drop bears.

Ambush minelayer sounds awesome too- can it also take the antipode, or is that only for the k9 profile version?

Dart seems really good for the point cost. Antipodes are real killers.
Sukra seen to be a must, with a future smoke unit.

I want the Strelok so bad. And the Ratkik is bonkers with double heavy rockets.

Aleph’s troop profiles are very interesting. I think they are going to see each other at the table almost always

very happy with the TAK trooper profiles, I’ll have to see how the Ratnik does in live testing as 54 points for a slightly more durable Blackjack leaves me worried. The model does look amazing though and will be a ton of fun to paint.

Interesting new profiles, and less new rules than expected (thankfully).
Now I have to decide to buy or wait till the Starter is released separatedly.
Loving the new Aleph profiles, im assuming Yadu will be similar to Hamza in Haqq.

That Yadu looks like an excellent MI. Lieutenant option. Drop Bears. 4-4 Movement ;). NWI and 3 Armour. I’m a fan.

Dart is a high priority target in my future games.
I dont really like the big ariadna. The hammer looks a bit off. Also his helmet.. I love Aleph thou
I’ve just noticed that the Yadu NCO statline is the one with the HMG. I now have the image in my head of the Lieutenant wondering where she left her personal order counter whilst a Yadu gleefully unloads a HMG in the background.
Remind me never to go drinking with Carlos, I’d be too worried he was going to ‘drop beers’ !
There is a lot of interesting profiles.
The introduction is really good. The voice actor deserve an oscar. I don’t know wich one (not best actor, for sure^^), but he deserves one.

That intro makes me wonder what they’ve been smoking
the Armata reminds me of a knightmare frame from code geas. i really liked the deva with the mimetic arm, a pity you did not pick that idea up for the hacker. also, i wonder about the dynamic sassy/cheeky pose of the yadu, it sort of does not fit the faceless head.

The more i hear of Dart, the more i`m liking her. As for equipping my characters, i would start with Ratnik. I would give him two Hammers and a pair of wolves, throw the hammers and get the wolves to fetch them.
