WiP Games and Miniatures has added a new selection of 28mm Ancient Greek Slingers to their collection for you to use when bolstering the skirmishers of your armies in the likes of On Bloody Ground.

Slingers would have been a common sight in a lot of armies of the ancient world. Stones were readily available to anyone and despite being a simple tool, a well-trained Slinger could do some real damage to an enemy, even one wearing armour. Slung well, a stone missile from a sling could punch through helmets, breastplates and more and take your enemies out in an instant.

These single-piece metal miniatures could be used for your Ancient Greeks, within the ranks of the Spartans or the Macedonians. You could also use them as mercenaries in Perian or Roman armies, amongst others.

As well as being able to buy individual miniatures, you can also buy bundles of twenty or 100 if you want to stock up on an Army Builder slot.
