More Gen Con 2014 Previews From Wild West Exodus

Wild West Exodus have shown off another piece of artwork for the upcoming range of miniatures for Gen Con 2014 later this year. It's not been stated but I would assume this is another addition to the Holy Order...
This chap is certainly looking like he can handle himself, and based on comments from yesterday the leaders of the Holy Order will be acting as buffers for the rest of the more resilient warband. I like the look and the pieces of armour, especially those boots.
The pistols are also rather nifty and the blue glow showing up across the art will be nice to try and get right when it comes to painting.
Getting you more excited for Gen Con?

Outlaw will be impressive this con season now that they’ve fullfilled all their pledges. Looking forward to seeing them at Gen Con.
Loving the look of the new stuff. It;s going to be difficult to avoid buying another faction for this game!
I love their concept for a game. Really nice minis. Higher than GW prices. With other cool old west skirmish games to choose from, in my area anyway, people keep commenting on how cool the game looks but no one is taking the plunge. So for the few people who are interested in wild west/old west/weird west skirmish gaming they all just go back to blackwater gulch, warhammer old west, Gut Shot!, etc. etc. with other minis and continue ignoring this one.
Again I hope these guys stay in business and do well enough they can start offering maybe some better bundle deals or something, maybe figure out how to lower their cost enough to lower their price point or something. But $13++ or more per infantry figure is a little too steep for my taste, even for a skirmish game. Yes they have been doing that $5 mini thing … which is a step in the right direction. They have army “bundles” ($264 bucks??). For a company like GW this sort of pricing is one thing. Say what one will about them (and I am no fan of GW these days) but they have a huge community around their games, in most major cities one can easily find people who play GW games, stores that support them, etc. there are many tournaments, etc. etc. For this game there is no product support really, unless your local game shop or game club happens to be really into it for whatever reason. At this point for this game it is buy it off the internet at pretty staggering prices and then maybe play with a few friends … at higher prices than one would pay for even GW minis. I’m sure anyone who participated in their kickstarter is singing their praises though … your bought in … its either dump your stuff on eBay or cross your fingers and hope it catches on. Best of luck to Wild West Exodus … again I like the theme and their hutzpah for doing something other than standard sci-fi, fantasy or basic steam/arcana punk.
well im happy they are doing this faction next as ive no interest in it at all that way ill should have enough money for the confederates and Mexicans when they get released.
@lordofexcess you know you only need to get the starter box at $70(less than £50 at wayland games in the uk) to have a good battle which really isn’t that bad compared to what you need for a GW game
