About the Project
This is going to be a small project as I have a 5-man kill team and a Watch Captain to paint for the Deathwatch. I'm going to do these separately as single mini's. The project is mostly intended to bridge the gap between now and the release of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare.

The Team
This is the 5-man team + the Watch Captain on the far left. They’re mostly build from one killteam box and an upgrade sprue*. I did use some of the Space Wolf and Dark Angel bits on the appropriate miniatures. The bases are 32mm & 40mm tech bases by Micro Art Studios. The 32mm on all standard infantry and the 40mm on the Watch Captain and the sergeant. The cloak and powerpack on the Space Wolf sergeant is a Sons of Thor fur cloak backpack from Kromlech.
*Some additional bits from other Games Workshop kits may have been used as well.
Progress is happening!!!
Tonight I finished the captain for my Deathwatch, just varnishes etc. left. I then made a start on the sergeant for the killteam.
Lots more progress.
I got both the Space Wolf sergeant and the Dark Angels member of my Deathwatch killteam done. Just varnishes and some finishing touches. I’m quite happy with the Dark Angels one, but not entirely happy with the shoulder pad on the Space Wolf sergeant. I find it acceptable though so I am going to leave it like this.
Little Painting Gaps.
I’ve found a little gap late at night where I could do some painting, so I made a start on the Salamanders member of my Deathwatch killteam. This however does still leave my airbrush out so I can’t actually fully finish any models or prep any new ones.
Pushing Through.
It’s hot and I’m painting, which means I will need to buy new brushes at the end of the summer. I finished the Salamanders member for my Deathwatch killteam, just varnishes left. Not forcing my airbrush through the heat, so just waiting for a cool moment to finish things off.
More Progress.
I did more painting. The Imperial Fists member of my Deathwatch killteam is ready for the varnishes. And I made a start on the Raven Guard member of my Deathwatch killteam. I’ve also been able to do some airbrushing today and will have some fully finished models on here soon (most likely tomorrow).
The Last Member
I finished the Raven Guard member of my Deathwatch killteam. After the varnishes are done on all of them my Deathwatch killteam will then be finished.
