About the Project

Due to a life getting in the way i never have time to enter any of the Terrain Challenges or even get involver in the forums as much as i like, and still don't have the time. so i thought for my Terrain Challenge why not let it build itself!! about two years ago i backed a Kickstarter by Z1Design whom had designed a modular modern day, 3D printable Buildings. I've only just got my 3D printer going and why not whits I'm at work have it build my Terrain Challenge for me HA HA HA. i hope to keep you all updater on my progress, troubles and successes as my work horse of a 3D printer churns through the filament and i can show what can be made. keeping it on topic. i will be making a tourist of American city style apartments t use in my games off Walking Dead, DC Universe and Fallout. the major thing i will need to contend with is time, for me to have time to keep up with the project and the time it takes to print everything to build this project. hope you all keep with me on my first ever Project, Terrain Challenge and first major forum posts.

Came home today to find this.

this was my first big mess up on my 3D Printer.

not shore that happened but u guess that one of the parts came off the bed and made some issues

no damage done but sadly a day and filament wasted.

Time to start Pre Primming.

Ok I have most of the 3D Printing for the Buildings now done.

Time to pull out the Halfords Filler Primer.

hoping once this is down this will give a better surface to the parts to take the colour primer and then after that paint.

it has take 6 Cans of the filler primer to cover all the parts that need it.

Looking amazing and really coming along.

Glad i have decided to go with only 3 buildings and not the fourth. it could be great to have the fourth but due to the time having three and the time to detail them will be more worth while than four and no painting and detailing.

Amazing what 3D Printing can do.

it is amazing what a 3D Printer can do. I’ve printed a mash fence that layers diagonals to the left then diagonal to the right then at the end a single across beam and its so fine and so perfect.

Lets see what we have.
