More slow progress, a 5 man unit of Intercessors.

I’m not sure about the guns, I just painted them all metal, shaded that then added the contrast red to the casing. Its given a duller metallic finish, and Im not sure if i like that over the brighter red colour!

Well on the hobby table at the moment is many things, but currently I’ve only been working on 1 or 2 things.

A Forgeworld Dark Angel  and bits for my Chaos Knight…

First up the Dark Angel, I had to have this model for my army, even tho its a 30k marine, I just fell for it, so he’s getting a newer 40k style paint job and I’ll use him as some kind of champion!

A very small bit of progress here, but Ive been putting off painting this Chaos Knight for a long time as I like the colours of the “Litany of Destruction” Knight but havent been totally sure how to go about it…

I feel good about being able to get a few things done this weekend! This might be the quickest I have done a model in a long time!

Pretty happy with him, just had to have this model in the army, so glad that it fits in as a company champion very well!

Its taken me a good while to do this guy, but wanted to take my time a bit, and sww what I could do..

Got some time today to finish, and get the base sorted. Pretty happy with how he has turned out, suitable to lead my Dark Angels force!

Had to get a the last 5 members of the third Tactical Squad finished.. Been on the to do list for a while! That will make me feel better when I get round to starting a new squad! I hate leaving something half done! (although I do it often!)

For the next while I will mainly will be focusing on my Spring Cleaning Project 

With the recent Spring Cleaning Challenge that I completed, I really had my eyes opened to the blue grey coloured Space Wolves.

My whole army aside from that one pack is the more grey colour form the 30k time. I always loved that look, but now Im humming and haaaaing about what to do!

Here are a few of the different styles in my force below;

Options?

Well thinking about it I have a few options;

1. Repaint everything – not sure I’m willing to go that far!
2. Leave it as is, and not worry – I dont think i could just leave something that different in the army alone.. would feel odd to me!
3. Repaint a few units for Ragnar’s Great Company, leave others for other Wolf Lords. – this is a possibility I feel that is most likely.

Will have a think and decide in the next while!

Simple respray of these Sky Claw lads into the newer colour scheme!

Then a little tidy up, with the base rims changed.

I think the bases should tie in alright with the other newer Wolf Pack, and I’m pretty happy with how they turned out with the little time spent..

Onward to pick the next pack!

Next redo unit was this terminator pack.

I always had these arms magnetized, that was handy to help paint, however I never got round to making up some alternate weapons!
