About the Project

This is my project to build a copy of the space hulk boardgame. Firstly this game is what got me interested in gaming, I sadly never owned it but I remember one Christmas seeing it a shop when I was a young lad, dropping massive hints to my mum and dad 'that it looked really interesting'. Sadly the 25th came but space hulk didn't arrive but my interest in miniatures did. Fast forward 25 years or so and a friend at my local club found a copy in a charity shop for £2 and gave it to me. It has been sitting on a shelf for about 9months but this challenge has given be the excuse to get building.

I thought I would leave the elite to last. The 10 terminators are ready for action. I thought I would leave the elite to last. The 10 terminators are ready for action.
The terminators are one of the original designs and are quite squished and rigid. I plan to raid ebay for 10 new terminators hopefully I will be able to find some modern versions as replacements to face the alien invasion for a reasonable price. The rules and scenerios are all in good conditions with some great old skool Warhammer artwork. The rules and scenerios are all in good conditions with some great old skool Warhammer artwork.

The genestealers came in the box primed white. All 20 miniatures are the same pose but I am going to keep these as my tyranid force. I am going to put them on some new resin bases and prime them black for a new paint job. The genestealers came in the box primed white. The components have been bagged up and the cardboard doors come with stands. I will probably use the tokens but will replace the doors for some resin pieces. Firstly the selection of corridors is great. They fit together like a jigsaw. My plan is to make my game board 2.5 dimensional with some scenery pieces and new doors.
